Violet Grey Studio is open! We are located at 505 Main Street, Lafayette, Indiana. In the heart of Main Street! Our first week was absolutely amazing & we couldn't have asked for any more love & support from everyone! We are forever grateful.
Throughout the process of opening the salon we wanted to be able to show the progress from start to finish. We tried to be diligent about getting updated pictures through out so that you all could enjoy the transformation as much as us!
Before Construction
We knew we wanted to restore the beautiful hardwood floors. What we didn't know was there was a very nasty laminate put over it sometime around 1950 (contractors guess). Needless to say they had a difficult time getting the laminate up, but you can start to see the progress in picture two & three. Isn't it BEAUTIFUL?!
Progress, walls are up & ALL of the things started to arrive at the salon! Also how beautiful are the floors looking!?
& NOW the real progress takes place. We ended up using white straight from the can because we wanted to keep the atmosphere clean & neutral. We had the ceiling painted a matte black to give the space a modern feel.
For the overall aesthetic of the salon we wanted to keep it neutral with boho elements. We are thrilled with how the salon turned out & couldn't imagine a more beautiful space for our clients to get all of their beauty services at!
